Pricing and turnaround
Priced by blade type, not a flat rate, a 4-inch paring knife and a 10-inch chef's knife don't take the same stone time.
| Blade type | All four stages | Turnaround | Price | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Paring knife, up to 4" | Yes | Same day | $8 | Drop-off |
| Chef's knife, up to 10" | Yes | Same day | $14 | Drop-off |
| Serrated (bread knife) | No, different sequence | 2 days | $18 | By appointment |
Serrated edges skip the strop
A serrated blade is sharpened tooth by tooth on a tapered rod, not across a flat stone, and it never gets a strop pass, there's no continuous edge for a strop to true up. Different tool, different sequence, priced and timed differently because it actually is different.
